Dans Point of view
“When I was first diagnosed with PTSD, there was very little help for my family and me. Cops don’t have a VA, so my family and I had to learn and adapt. I hope that through this project, other families will find someone who knows what they are going through, has been down that road, and has learned some things that can help and can give them hope that they, too, are a superfamily.” – Dan (PTSDad)
Why Proper Villains Is making Comic
After meeting Dan Lucas, and his family, Proper Villains, LLC decided to collaborate on PTSDad. It was touching to see such a strong family dedicated to learning and achieving how to handle the struggles of PTSD together. With the mission of this Comic being to provide other families in the same position a relatable source of media, Proper Villains couldn’t be prouder to help contribute to this project. Our hope for PTSDad is that we can help bring awareness to PTSD, and most importantly help those who may feel like they are alone or that there’s no hope.
